Tintwhisk is operated by [YOUR FULL NAME], trading as Tintwhisk, based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. By using tintwhisk.com and the Tintwhisk calculator, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Tintwhisk is a colour-mixing calculator for icing, currently in free early access. There are no accounts and no charges. When paid plans launch, these terms will be updated with billing terms, and continued use of paid features will require accepting them.
The honest bit about colour: Tintwhisk's recipes are calculated estimates, not guarantees. Screens display colour differently, food colours vary between batches and bottles, and icing recipes behave differently. Brand strengths marked "estimated" in the app are modelled values, not measurements. Always mix and test a small batch before committing to a full one — especially for client work.
Because of the variables above, we accept no liability for wasted ingredients, spoiled batches, colour mismatches, lost time, or any losses arising from client orders or commercial baking work, whether recipes were calibrated or not. The calculator is a tool to get you close faster; your own test batch is always the final check. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Recipes and calibrations are stored in your own browser's local storage, on your device. We don't hold a copy, so we cannot recover them if you clear your browser data, change device, or use private browsing. If a recipe matters, note it down.
You're welcome to use Tintwhisk for personal and commercial baking. You may not resell access to the service, scrape it, attempt to disrupt it, use it unlawfully, or copy the site's content, design, or code for a competing product. The Tintwhisk name, site, and software are our intellectual property.
Tintwhisk is provided "as is" and "as available". Early access means features may change, break, or be withdrawn as the product develops. We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change when we do, and significant changes will be flagged to the launch list.
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction — though nothing in this clause reduces any consumer rights you have where you live.
